CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.- Goaltender Aerin Frankel made 25 saves to post her NCAA-best seventh shutout to lead the No. 3 Northeastern women's hockey team to a 5-0 victory over Boston College on Tuesday evening at Conte Forum.

- Not only did Frankel record her seventh shutout of the season, she also became the first goaltender in program history reach the 3,000 save milestone. Frankel made the second save of her night on a breakaway against BC's Kelly Browne, the save marked Frankel's 3,000th career save.

- Katy Knoll opened the score with a put back goal right in front of BC's crease at the 16:14 mark in the first period to give the Huskies a 1-0 lead. Megan Carter and Lauren MacInnis assisted Knoll's fifth goal of the season.

- Alina Mueller potted two goals in the second period, the first shorthanded, to extend the Northeastern lead to 3-0. Chloé Aurard assisted both goals and Brooke Hobson also got involved on Mueller's second goal.

- Miceala Sindoris kept the scoring going in the third period with her second of the season. Her goal brought the Huskies' lead to 4-0. Tessa Ward and Mia Brown tallied assists on the fourth goal of the night.

- Victoria Mariano scored the first goal of her career to close out the score at 5-0 in favor of Northeastern. Mueller and Frankel collected assists on the play, with Frankel's marking her third assist of the season.
