NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - Kelly Browne scored the game-winning goal with under 90 seconds to play in the third period as the Boston College women's hockey team grinded out a 3-2 win over Merrimack on Saturday night at Lawler Rink.

For the second consecutive day, the Eagles and Warriors played a scoreless first period and then entered the second intermission tied - this time at 1-1, with BC's goal coming off the stick of Caroline Goffredo. Sidney Fess put BC up early in the final frame only to see the Warriors respond 31 seconds later. Browne, though, potted her ninth of the year with 1:18 to play for the 3-2 win.
