PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Parker Ford scored the game-winner early in the third and Austen May recorded his first two NCAA goals as the No. 8 Providence College men's hockey team rallied to edge St. Lawrence, 4-3, on Friday night at Schneider Arena. The Friars extend their unbeaten streak to nine games (6-0-3).

NOTES
- St. Lawrence broke through first on a shorthanded goal by Luc Salem at 7:42.
- Nick Poisson netted his third goal of the season at 13:07 to tie the game up at 1-1 after finishing off a loose puck in the Saints crease. Cam McDonald and Riley Duran earned the assists.
- With 1:59 remaining in the first period, Providence's Brett Berard was assessed a five-minute major and game misconduct for hitting from behind.
- Providence killed off the entire five-minute major, but the Saints took a 2-1 lead at 11:39 on a goal from Josh Boyer.
- Freshman Austen May evened things up at 2-2 at 15:55 with his first NCAA goal on assists from Taige Harding and Liam Valente.
- St. Lawrence re-gained the lead on the power play at 18:13 on a re-direct Jan Lasak.
- May's second tally of the night brought the Friars even again just 2:05 into the third period. May fired a wrist shot through traffic from the point from Zetterquist. Jaroslav Chmelar and Chase Yoder earned the assists.
- Just 2:33 later, Parker Ford gave Providence the lead for good with his fifth goal of the season. Michael Citara's initial shot from the left circle was blocked but the bounce went right to Ford who fired it into a wide-open net to make it a 4-3 game.
- Providence survived the final 3:36 of 6-on-5 play as St. Lawrence pulled Zetterquist for the extra attacker. Philip Svedebäck made several key stops in the closing minutes to secure the game for the Friars.
