PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Senior Jamie Engelbert scored 1:41 into the first overtime period as the No. 7 seed Providence College men's hockey team advanced to the Hockey East Quarterfinals with a 2-1 victory over No. 10 seed New Hampshire on Wednesday night (March 8) at Schneider Arena.

NOTES
- A good pace to begin the game as both teams generated some quality offensive chances in the opening minutes of the contest.
- The Friars scored the period's lone goal as Craig Needham finished off Max Crozier's rebound off a faceoff win to put Providence up 1-0. It was Needham's fifth goal of the season and third against the Wildcats in four games.
- UNH responded early in the second period to tie the game at 1-1 on Conor Lovett's goal at the 3:09 mark.
