BOSTON, Mass. - With three players recording three points, the Huskies collect their second upset this week with a 6-3 victory over the No. 6/5 Maine Black Bears.

- To go up 1-0, freshman Dylan Hryckowian tallied his fifth goal of the season to net the only goal of the first period. Hryckowian stayed composed a snuck one in from behind the Maine netminder off helpers from sophomore Jack Williams and senior Alex Campbell.

- The Black Bears tallied two unanswered goals in the second period to take a 2-1 lead into the intermission.

- Wasting no time, the Huskies took back the advantage going on to score four straight goals to open the final frame. Beginning with sophomore Hunter McDonald with a beautiful shot from the left side to tie the game 2-2. Sophomore Vinny Borgesi and junior Justin Hryckowian tallied the assists.

- After earning a five-minute power play, Northeastern successfully scored three goals on the man advantage. Campbell struck first with a one-timer on the backside from Justin Hryckowian and graduate student Matt DeMelis.

- Only :23 seconds later did Justin Hryckowian tally a goal of his own for his third point of the night. Following up on a deflection from Campbell, Hryckowian scored on the doorstep for a 4-2. Dylan Hryckowian picked up the second assist.

- Williams added the third power-play goal for the Huskies off a one-timer, assisted by Borgesi and sophomore Cam Lund, recording his second goal in as many games.

- With under a minute to go, Maine recorded an extra-attacker goal to make it 5-3.

- To seal the deal, Borgesi would pot an empty-net goal with one second to go in the game from senior Gunnarwolfe Fontaine and Lund for a 6-3 win.

- With his 11th win of the year, freshman goaltender Cameron Whitehead tallied 37 saves.

- Additionally, Justin Hryckowian led both teams with 18 faceoff wins, while Campbell tallied a game-high seven shots.

The Huskies are all eyes on Monday night (Feb. 5) as they faceoff with Harvard in the semifinals of the 71st annual Beanpot.
