HOCKEY EAST PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Lindsay Bochna - Providence
(Sr., F; Toronto, Ont.)

Bochna has powered the Friars offense to a 5-0-1 record since returning from the Friendship Series in Belfast, scoring six goals and adding five assists for 11 points in January. She led Hockey East in goals and points. She registered four multi-point games, one game-winning goal, two power-play goals, and a plus-seven rating.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH

Molly Jordan - Boston College
(Fr., D; Berlin, Conn.)

Jordan exploded in January to lead all first-year players in Hockey East with nine points on four goals and five assists. Her 1.13 points per game were also top among freshmen. She earned Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week accolades on Jan. 22 after a four-point (2g, 2a) outing against Merrimack and a five-point week.

ARMY ROTC DEFENDER OF THE MONTH

Jules Constantinople - Northeastern
(So., D; East Haven, Conn.)

Constantinople posted two goals, two assists and 18 blocks in a 7-1-1 month for the Huskies. Both of Constantinople’s goals came on the power-play and one counted as the game-winner. She was part of a defense that held opponents to one goal or fewer in eight of their nine games in January.

STOP IT GOALTENDING GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH

Gwyneth Philips - Northeastern
(Gr., G; Athens, Ohio)

Philips led all of Hockey East with five wins, a 0.85 goals against average and .968 save percentage, numbers that also sat about the NCAA among netminders who played more than five games. She did not allow more than one goal in each of her seven starts and backboned Northeastern to a Beanpot title to earn Bertagna Award honors for the second straight year. Among goaltenders with over 14 starts, Philips leads the nation with a 1.12 GAA and .955 save percentage on the season.
